Diet plays a vital role in the maintenance and quality of life in a diabetic and there is many misconceptions about diabetics food which we will try to clarify here.

some foods are benefit and others should be restricted and others have action like insulin.

Following are some Beneficial Foods: 

  •  foods contain High fibre  as  beans, lentils
  •  Food  contain High Chromium (Broccoli)
  • Fish
  • Barley
  • Rice,Wheat,  Millet, Barley Grain ( Whole Grains  )
  • Chlorella
  • Vegetables
  •  Fruit ( Whole & Cooked )
  • Onions, Garlic
Foods have action like insulin:



  • Garlic
  • Oatmeal & Oat Flour products 
  • Soybeans

  • Cucumbers
  • Green Beans
  • Avocados
  • Raw & Green Vegetables
  • Wheat Green
  • GLA Oils (evening primrose,black currant seed oil, Spirulina)

Foods should be avoided

in one word "White Foods"as these foods contain These have a high Glycemic Index.

  • White Flour.
  • Rice.
  • Red Meat , egg, diary products and other  Food rich in fat
  • Sugars
